Anybody know why CGMs like @FreeStyleLibre require medical supervision? Are they in some way dangerous? Also, is "medical supervision" provided by 3rd parties even real? Is this just a commercial thing, extracting value from healthcare, or is there some legit purpose?

All self-researchers asking questions that don't attract scientific interest are astronauts in this sense. They are forced to explore because nobody else will ever care enough about their questions to make the empirical observations needed for discovery...
