@anishgiri @rpraggnachess Thankfully Pragg's schedule and excellence has also contributed to him leading the Circuit by a large margin . Hope he gets good rest before the World Cup and plays well there Gukesh, Arjun have been juggling formats and travels a great deal, and their results havent been stable

@anishgiri @anishgiri would no doubt be one of the strongest contenders at the Candidates , because of his thorough preparation and laser sharp focus Even @rpraggnachess who had a dream year, but an extraordinary hectic schedule is clearly struggling now

@anishgiri In between he has taken part in prestigious rapid & blitz event like GCT Croatia and the EWC , but the priority clear is classical chess. Even now with Candidates qualification secured , he is playing the European team champs, European club cup then World Cup

This has been a very interesting year for Chess. With the Freestyle Tour starting , EWC happening and also it being the Candidates qualification year. So various players have been juggling formats, time controls, and travels. The one player with a steady schedule is @anishgiri

FIDE is really doing their best to embarrass themselves Need future FIDE president @anishgiri to take over as soon as possible to straighten things
Carlsen and Nakamura fans should also be happy about a potential rating decay rule (which is coming as per FIDE officals). They will hopefully get to see their heroes compete in even more classical chess events! 🍿♟️

And yes, no way am I justifying me being fat or gaining loads of weight in recent times. I know I have to work on myself and somehow haven't been able to do that. But couldn't people keep their judgments to themselves

Yes, I know I have become fat.A random acquaintance doesn't need to tell me that. There may be reasons for the weight gain, which people who are not close to me will not know. I am sure a lot of people face this. Why can't people learn to be nice, and not be publicly judgemental?

I really wish people learnt to resist making sly comments at every opportunity. When you run into an acquaintance (not even a friend) after 10-15 odd years, what do you expect? A simply how are you, where are u now? But no "How fat have you become You must be eating great food"

Of all the defeats in recent times for Gukesh , yesterday's one was most worrying . He wasn't playing one of the world's best or not even one of the best young talents. But then a blunder came, more than that he also claimed an incorrect 3 fold repetition :( Hope he recovers 🙏

It really doesn't hurt announcing quizzes in advance I mean you don't need a poster to announce something ...just a post with raw details would do For too many quizzes only a few are privy to information, and hence are able to form teams When others get to know, all are booked
