It is painful to hear about the passing away of HE TogdanRinpoche. His service to the society as a minister in the Govt of J&K and his commitment to interfaith harmony & tolerance as a religious preacher can't be be forgotten. I have fond memories of working with him.

An untoward incident took place in Kargil today wherein a explosion of an UXB resulted in injuries to 3 children & later 1 succumbed to his injuries. The @firefurycorps @adgpi is requested to sanitize the area & @lg_ladakh admin is requested to sanction relief to the affected.

I condemn the act of tarnishing the image of His Holiness @DalaiLama. His Holiness isn't only a religious leader but a messenger of peace, love and humility.  His Holiness teachings on humanity and oneness are still revered across religious lines throughout Ladakh and the globe.
