Event investing is playing the man not the ball. Literally zero reason to start DD contemplating a 58c deal when the stock was 60c, if you thought you could buy at 58c. Obviously a bump coming, question is just how much and whether it’s acceptable to the register. $HUM.AX.

Loading the boat on $HUM.AX here. Co confirms AA entered due diligence - but only today, well after stock has traded through 58c. Minimum bid from AA will obvi have to be raised, substantially - and yet he still went to DD to continue process. IMO stock should be 65-67c right.

$XRP pushing $3, and $TFG.AS $TFG.LN Tetragon putting up new year highs at $17.5 (on decent vols too, for this name). NAV - on my nos - is about $40, right now. If you subscribe to my view on the set-up, mgmt should increasingly feel pressure (to do something) the higher the.

$HUM.AX update: AFR reporting TAG still hasn't been granted data room access (despite co PR suggesting this was given 3 weeks ago). Interesting. Unanimous s/holder feedback + price action likely doing the talking. This is a good thing. Time for AA to put up or shut up.

$PGH.AX is now delisted. As expected the majority owner bought essentially every share he could (1.2mm out of 1.9mm traded, 63% of vols!), at prices up into the 90c range. all that's left now is to wait for our >$2 buyout 🫡

At the current $XRP mark, Ripple’s holding is worth $116bn alone. The last buyback valued Ripple at $25bn. Meanwhile Ripple is valued in the $TFG accounts at $8-10bn…and $TFG itself trades at a 60% discount to its NAV…. Make it make sense 🤔🤔.
