It was a sudden travel plan Novy had to make that opened up a chance to do my first game on TV. When he returned, he gave up the lead's role without any fuss, telling me he'd take over as expert. I was just 26. We had no stat/fact support. But he prepared notes for me.

Very few players can and add a calm that permeates through the team. Apuia is one such, he can control the tempo of a match, and it's clear that the team feels safer with him available. It's difficult to not get excited about such a talent. May he flourish & justify the hype.
