Our Al Jazeera Investigative Unit film GAZA was released precisely a year ago. It is absolutely unbelievable that a year on we continue to witness the same scenes. https://t.co/2GIkz5BTqp

The normal rules is what the hunger strikers want to be applied @daverich1 It’s extremely unusual for people accused of crimes like this not to get bail and to have to wait 18 months for trial. Extrajudicial punishment.
Palestine Action’s whole shtick is that they are so moral and just, the normal rules that everyone else lives by shouldn’t apply to them. This hunger strike is just an extension of the same entitlement. https://t.co/mBJzFYZ2pD

Child abuse aside, Epstein’s life’s passion was collecting people. In almost every photo he smirks smugly at the camera – “look who I’ve caught in my net” And the global elite were happy to pose with him, signalling membership of the gilded circle of power, wealth and impunity.

Andrea Egan sounds like a breath of fresh air. But I note she was elected leader of Unison on a 7% turnout of the members. https://t.co/vWxt45r8JC

I have been appalled by Wes Streeting’s attacks on resident doctors. The destructive right wing of the Labour party should know that this is a new era, says the general secretary-elect of Unison,...

A reminder that Jeffrey Epstein's Little Black Book has already been released - unredacted! - by Congress, a fact that received remarkably little attention https://t.co/2cdTOcd7zp

Ghislaine Maxwell in Downing Street. From the latest release of the Epstein files. We know Epstein had a half hour meeting with Tony Blair in Downing Street in 2002 - though the story was largely buried by the British press / 1

Awaiting trial for protesting a cause supported by many? Surely this 20 year old girl has a right to express her outrage. Are we following the US in our crackdown on freedoms? Palestine Action hunger striker in ‘deadly period’ after 47 days https://t.co/R4jmWWb1sH

Some of the Palestine Action hunger strikers could be within days of death. They have been found guilty of no crime. They are being charged with crimes that involved no violence against people. Yet they are being held on remand for 18 months - way beyond the statutory norm.

The president has tried to minimize their friendship, but documents and interviews reveal an intense and complicated relationship. Chasing women was a game of ego and dominance. Female bodies were...

These mobile homes are still being prevented from entering Gaza. As infants die of hypothermia and tattered tents are washed away in sewage and thundering rain and floods. This is nothing short of sadistic behaviour on the part of Israel.
🚨Clarification: Netanyahu continues to prevent the entry of caravans, bulldozers & trucks to Gaza through Egypt's Rafah crossing, despite mediators getting assurances on this Dozens of caravans & heavy vehicles are still at the Rafah crossing awaiting permission to enter Gaza

Incredible. The BBC gets the context right - for once - and then proceeds to panic and correct it. No news organisation has ever wrecked its reputation over one story the way it has over the last two years.
Uh oh, it looks like a bit of history might have just been Berg'd at the BBC. Don't want people associating "intifada" with 'unarmed' or 'popular' it seems. Note also the load bearing "Some" in 2nd para of the correction. Who? Why? Berg'd. h/t @FisunGuner for raising the alarm.

Eight Palestine Action activists held on remand in UK prisons are now in the seventh week of a mass hunger strike, with lawyers warning some could die in custody if the government does not intervene. None have been convicted, yet all have been denied bail and held for up to 18
ALERT - Palestine Action hunger strikers could die in the next few weeks, if not days, and government and media appear to be conspiring to bury the story. Please please share my latest for @DoubleDownNews

🇬🇧 Perhaps the UK gov has not enough on its conscience that can let Anti-Genocide activists die?? I trust the UK people will appreciate that this is not about Palestine anymore: it is about their own freedoms. Full solidarity to PalestineAction hunger strikers and their families.
