Being anti-AI is like being anti-Excel. Look, Excel has flaws, but it powers … conservatively … trillions? of economic throughput. Because it's SO much better than the old way. If you still think AI is a "hype train" at this point, I don't know what to say to you.

I for one am still more worried about engineered viruses than malignant AI. We fear technological advances because they feed our imagination. Infection is boring, but look at how impossible it is to stop it.
