Wending my way home after a long day, with the sun setting over the Peak District hills and the smell of woodsmoke and autumn in the air. The only sounds were the sheep and my own footsteps, heavy with a quiet tiredness, knowing I'd earned a fire, a good book and a lot of cheese.

Saw the damage up at Stanage, they made a right mess
Hathersage. Assisting @DerbyshireRCT with these two 4x4s which had strayed off green lanes and onto Sites of Special Scientific Interest. Both in a dangerous condition, prohibited from further movement. S59 warning. Investigation into SSSI offences ongoing. #PG9 #RuralCrime
