Thankful for people who called when a “hater” has questioned my character and integrity so unprofessionally over the past 3 years. I’ve always appreciated working with you and I know together we can change mathematics education for good. Speak life, not hate in all things.

I have the most beautiful example of how we should lift others up. My 81 year old dad reminded me this week how we should always be positive to others, instead of tearing them down. Weak people harm, strong people help others rise. Which kind of person do you choose to be?

Students should be taught “success” is progress made toward a goal. Sometimes that goal may take a few days to accomplish, and that is just fine. @TheMathGuru used a hiking example to demonstrate this concept. #cmcmath

Discussing learning walks at #ncsm24. One of the comments made in the audience was, “We need to acknowledge we each have a lens that we are viewing classrooms with during the learning walk.” Whoever is on that unique learning walk is also bringing their own lens and perspectives
