This November was busy, we engaged in meaningful conversations about Data during the 11/8 PD, students joined artists in painting of our mural on the 1st floor, Fall Fest Dance and Thanksgiving Baskets to families, excited for December! @cristinevaughan @MartaLegan @District11BX

PS111 celebrated Halloween with our first Trunk O Treat event and we had a special guest, our councilman Mr. Riley @CMKevinCRiley . It was great to show him and his team around our school and we look forward to collaborating with as we focus on CARE! @MartaLegan @cristinevaughan

Today we celebrated our readers and writers with our 1st and 2nd grade Spelling Bee. Our students were so excited and did an amazing job spelling words at and above their grade level! Great celebration of learning with families! @cristinevaughan @MartaLegan @District11BX

Tomorrow we will be hosting the first Soap Box Derby in the Bronx @ps111setonfalls @cristinevaughan @District11BX . Our students are so excited and our car looks amazing. We hope to see everyone join us , we will have a DJ and lot's of fun cheering on the competitors!

PS 111 students and families were guided by a YMCA instructor to DESTRESS BEFORE THE TEST! We are proud of the work our students have been doing and we are confident they will do their best in our upcoming state exams! @District11BX @cristinevaughan @MartaLegan

PS111 acknowledges and celebrates Respect For All week 2/14-2/18/22 with various activities ( ex.covering hate wall with kindness stars, anti-bullying poster contest ) and is now off recharging for February break.@cristinevaughan @District11BX
