I love Zhongli and Hu Tao's dynamic because Zhongli is like, "I cannot deal with that CHILD," and meanwhile Hu Tao probably handled all of his employment paperwork when he turned out not to have an address, and times his paychecks so that he actually pays rent before shopping.

I feel like Mu Qing comes off as cold for the same reason that he gave great advice, which is that he is very particular about what he says and does, because he has so much more awareness of the consequences of speech and actions than Xie Lian and Feng Xin did at that age.
i think it needs to be discussed more how mu qing was so much more than a mere servant/follower of xie lian during xianle days. he offered such wise and helpful counsel that really highlighted his potential and capacities as a cultivator, respectively a god himself later on

I love the idea that Zhongli and Venti are very close friends with great shared respect, but also that Venti is the only person in Teyvat that can make Zhongli drop his dignified demeanor and devolve to anything short of strangling Venti in the dust in about two minutes flat.
