So, that's it. I don't care if other people like JW, or if they like JW more than PW. I'm still just a self-published college dropout trying to build something bigger than myself with any artists willing to join me. I'm not here to fight with strangers. - Ethan @Ammonaut.

Here you can see the screenshots as they rapidly changed their account and deactivated it. This ordeal lasted about 48 hours, at the tail end of a 2-week shitshow.

By this point, the person behind the account had changed their profile pic and username and gave me this explanation. I'm not sure if I believe it, but whatever.

This person impersonating me was doing some crazy shit. Commenting on baby pictures with the date they would turn 18, just really psychotic behavior. Naturally, I reached out to them.

I was alerted that this absolute psycho was trying to ruin my reputation through the attached screenshots that were shared with me by a concerned twitter user.

After the second apology, some insane twitter user made a fake account to impersonate me and further ruin my reputation. The only personal account I have ever had is @Ammonaut, which was originally the second PW page after I deactivated the first.

However, I've been seeing the same stories for years, that I went on an 'insane tirade' or 'ranted against JW' when all I had done was respond to people with stupid gifs and share what I felt about the JW films when I was asked and questioned on it. But, things got worse.

Things started to settle down after the two apologies, but the damage was done. I never directly targeted anybody like, 'you're an idiot' or 'you're ugly' or 'all jw fans are this, all jw fans are that', etc. So when people say I 'attacked' or 'targeted' people, I didn't.

I panicked and started blocking people. It was just a stupid shit-show and I didn't know how to get out of it. So I blocked a lot of people, made a new account, blocked people again, just really stupid nonsense. I eventually re-activated this account and issued 2 apologies here.

Once the news got out that it was me behind the twitter account, I got hundreds of messages saying all kinds of horrifically horrible shit. There were a lot of people saying I was mentally ill, a drug addict, schizophrenic, etc. Some of these I still see on places like reddit.

So, on Twitter, there's always been brands that are sarcastic, insulting, whatever to their competition and commentors alike. On every PW social media page, I would always say 'We', when in reality it was only ever me. I felt everything was fine because it was 'PW', not 'me'.

The new guy panicked, because people on discord were asking him a million questions about what was happening and he started sharing screenshots of our group chat showing that I (Ethan) was behind the twitter account. All hell broke loose after that.

This guy was a fan of the books, and I wanted to give him a shot at designing dinosaurs for PW. Normally I tell the artist what I want the dinosaurs to look like, but he came to me with all kinds of designs to use. I said I would be happy to, but that'll never happen now.

Now, at this time, I was fine with what was going on. I didn't care that people were upset at the time. Nobody else on the PW creative team cared either, except for a new member that wanted to contribute dinosaur designs. We haven't - and will never - use his designs.
