My son said "no mommy, not again" and proceeded to scream and cry for 20 minutes when I woke him up from his nap I don't have the heart to tell him that this is the best time of his life, and it only gets worse from here

I sat on the table (because I'm a heathen), and my son wagged his finger and said "No mommy, no sit on table. You naughty mommy. Timeout if do again." I guess I better mind my manners from now on lol

Can confirm I am damp (sweaty) pretty much 24/7
something deeply lodged in my mind is that henry cornelius agrippa von nettesheim (born 1480s) describes wandering troubled souls (after bodily death, essentially ghosts) as “troubled and moist spirit(s)”. are ghosts wet? perpetually damp? truly horrifying to consider.

People mostly talk about how beautiful the trees are during autumn (and they are), but some flowers are pretty pretty too

My son eats this like it's cereal (without the milk) He asks for a bowl and eats it with a spoon. He can't get enough. What a little weirdo lol

*Telling my dad how difficult my son has been lately* Him: "Haha, oh yeah, you were the exact same way." Me: "Okay, well, when did it get better?" Him: "It got better?" 😑

I can't make my account private because I'll finally feel free to express all of my opinions and then everyone will leave except for my husband

I hate reading books on my phone (or any screen), but I'm too poor to buy all the books I wish to read 😭

I grew up being a bedroom kid so I tried to raise living room kids, and accidentally made directly up my ass’ kids.

It would be really cool if everyone but me could keep their opinions to themselves from now on

Fourth or fifth night in a row of sleeping maybe three hours in total. I'm thankful that my son is sleeping (mostly) well, but I'm starting to almost feel delirious.

We've been slowly watching Home Improvement, and boy oh boy does Tim Allen remind me of my grandpa. It's certainly a bittersweet watch. Even though it has been over 15 years I think about him at least once a week. I miss him dearly. I'm talking about Tim Allen of course
