Content Creators - we're currently testing a hotfix for the "YouTube confirmed coverage" issue. We'll continue to monitor the hotfix to see if further work is required.

We hope to have a hotfix live within the next few hours.

Content creators - The team have confirmed an issue with submitting YouTube coverage. We're working on a temporary hot fix. A recent undocumented change to some YouTube API endpoints means we've been unable to confirm that uploaded videos are owned by the respective channels.

Access to the backend coverage systems is controlled and managed by various levels of security and authentication. One part of this is a maintained list of what can talk to it. The new instances weren’t added to this list. This has now been done.

If you’re interested, the error was caused by a huge server infrastructure upgrade we did last weekend. This resulted in a few more instances of the front-end, and some new IP addresses.

If you’ve had a an issue submitting YouTube coverage over the past few days then we’re super sorry - that was on us. It’s all fixed now so if you’re still seeing an error then reach out at hello@pressengine.net
