hot take but my preferred answer is open with Oberyn and Elia travelling to Casterly Rock and Tyrion's birth. i know everyone thinks RR is about Robert + Rhaegar first, but i think narratively giving the Martells and Lannisters (specifically Tywin + Elia) center stage is the move
@ladydragonjj If you were to make a TV series that "ends" with Robert's Rebellion, where would you start it? The Tourney at Harrenhal would seem obvious. But do you start a little further back to establish characters like Rhaegar, Brandon Stark, etc?
