Right ? So why should India be dictated by Europe and US regarding buying Russian oil ?.

I loved the last test between Ind and England. But its always good to remember that test cricket of quality is played by just 5 nations now. So while we love a few games here and there, it is a dying sport.

But it definitely feels sad to know that probably i will never get a chance to make our cities livable by actually operating public transit and show how to operate them. Such is our system. Theek hai. :).

Its been more than 8 years, since I left my area of research (signal processing, ML) to work on public transportation. Worked on the ground, built things, scaled them and now (i think) I know what will it take to run the operations as well. [1].
I am loving that people have finally realised the importance of footpaths. happening! After cars will fill every inch of our spaces they will realise the importance of public transit. I hope Prof @sanjit_krish wont ask for proof that we cant have any more cars after a while.

The only reason why I will want to shift outside India is the honking and lack of footpaths. I can tolerate corruption, bad food, bad air, bad water. I cant tolerate people honking and hitting me with their cars/bikes from behind while I am walking on a "footpath".

Sri Lanka went bankrupt in 2022 and major cities still got better roads and footpaths than tier 1 cities of India . This should be the minimum benchmark for cleanliness and building walkable infra in India. You are one foreign visit away from getting reality check of India
