@pot8um I mean, I'm far from being a Biden fan, but how do you put this one on him?

@802_indy He had nearly 1.5 yrs to codify Roe before it was overturned, something his campaign proudly said he’d do (and while I’m at it, Obama promised this as well 🦗) He was in office when Roe was overturned. The rumblings were there. This didn’t happen overnight. And he did nothing.

@pot8um Wait. Which party had a supermajority three times since the Roe judgement, and failed to codify it?

@pot8um I just don't understand why it wasn't codified. It had 50 years to be codified, but was torn down at the height of division. Now it's a voting advert. I don't like this timeline.

@pot8um Oh yeah Biden could’ve just or issued an executive order that surely would have been permitted by courts, or packed the court or codified it, things that certainly would have been passed in congress, because Prez has infinite legislative powers!

@pot8um I never know if to be mad at Biden or concerned for his mental health. Grandpa's tired, you know, I think he should sit down and take an indefinite break

@pot8um We lost Roe when Trump was president because he appointed the justices who were set on doing that. Biden couldn’t stop it.

@pot8um NO votes to codify abortion rights before/after Roe v. Wade was gutted. NO votes to restore the Voting Rights Act. NO votes on the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act. NO votes to ensue the Navajo Nation has clean drinking water after June 2023 SCOTUS ruling. All NOs.

@pot8um Trump was the one that appointed these SCOTUS members that did this, actually.

@pot8um Um, because Trump was elected, he got to stack the Supreme Court with conservatives. I’d point the finger at everyone who just couldn’t vote for the “email lady”

@pot8um It always sounds like he wants to talk to whoever is in charge. It would be comical if it didn’t have permanent devastating effects on the entire world.
