Ableists don’t deserve internet access

@pot8um Everyone wants to think they’re invincible. Seeing us reminds them of their own vulnerabilities….. and they don’t want that

@pot8um 100% people think they are immune but they are one illness, accident, trauma away from becoming disabled and they pretend that are invincible

@pot8um Nobody Cares. And by that I mean nobody cares about the "consequences" because they want to live "Normally" since they first got told about restrictions. We gonna eat it, HARD...

@pot8um People always say get heated about shows being too 'woke' because they don't understand basic literacy criticism or storytelling. The politics of a story aren't the issue, it's the way that the politics and characters are written. 'Wokeness' is just a scapegoat argument.

@pot8um Yep. Major reason for the massive amount of support that othering disabled people, homeless people, prisoners and perpetrators of violent or extreme crimes receives. Othering dehumanises and dehumanising brings comfort that you can't "end up like them" because you're human right?

@pot8um everyone on earth most likely will become disabled at some point in their lives, whether it’s short term or long term, yet they treat us so horribly!!!

@pot8um @Elemmett2 Nice message for #InternationalDisabilityDay ! I remind the not-yet-disabled as often as possible that the only way to NEVER become #disabled is to die first, suddenly & traumatically.

@pot8um It's the same thing that drives me crazy when people dehumanize the homeless. Like, you and I are way closer to that state than to being millionaires!
