A four-engine US Air Force jet is circling downtown Portland around noon Sunday. A PDX spokesperson said the jet is part of a promotional flyby for an event happening later. There is no crisis at the airport.

The new fine comes after Portland began fining the feds $500 every 15 minutes.
It recently topped $2.3 million, but the city hasn't collected any of the money.
"I'm not looking for a pat on the back or a thank you. I'm just looking to be here — be at the table — and create opportunities for other kids who look like me and other kids who are being overlooked."

"We need them to stop using chemical weapons in front of our school," she said.
