Watched Chappie just to make sure it was an actual movie. Basically a reboot of Short Circuit 2, but with more Robocop influence. Starring the electro/hip-hop duo that makes videos that are pure nightmare fuel: Die Antwoord. Their haircuts alone give me night terrors.

The bar is so low. People are asking for a "living" wage. Not a thriving wage, or even a satisfactory wage, just literally enough to live. People ask "can I live?" and the response is "we'd rather have higher profits." In fact, the rich live 15 years longer than the poor.

For those of us that live in a place with minimal snowfall and think they like snow, miss snow, etc... Take a 150 mile solo trip on a 25-year-old snowmobile. Get stuck a few times. Have a few mechanical problems. Be moderately ill-prepared. That’ll cure ya.
