Peace and reassurance are better than distorted growth or miserable victories followed by a series of uncontrollable imbalances. Sorrows drive nails into the heart, and extracting them always leaves a mark. Worries feed off the light in our eyes until their sparkle fades away.

I will not label a series of severe psychological blows as "lessons" or boast about them. They are traumas—T R A U M A S. Let us stop making pathetic claims and call things by their names.

I have enough honesty to admit that I no longer welcome pain or painful experiences. I do not aspire to an awareness that drains and shreds my soul—if it can even be called awareness.

Those who sit in waiting rooms outside psychological clinics fully understand the damage caused by relentless pressure & unstable circumstances. The same goes for those who ignore their need to seek help & face life daily with a wide, fake smile because they have no other choice.

I do not deny that—who among us can move forward without compiling a list of small triumphs that push us toward life and renew our desire to live? Yet, when pain becomes immense, chronic, or repetitive, it devours the soul until it destroys it.

Painful experiences do not grant immunity in the safest way for a person. This is merely one of the defiant claims we make to adapt to life's harsh nature.

I detest being among those who boast about hollow victories of endurance, hiding behind this facade of strength while concealing the accumulated wreckage within.

I accept the passing of pain, but I do not grow accustomed to it. I completely reject the idea of glorifying or romanticizing it, or attributing credit to it as if it leads to higher levels of awareness or serves as a tool for refining one’s character.
