Basking sharks close to shore at Keem Bay, Achill Island. They were once fished to the point of being endangered in this very bay; beautiful to see them returning summer after summer. They are harmless to humans, but advice is to watch from a distance.
Driving the 'long' way from Dublin to Cork. Any tips for stops to break the journey... a bite to eat, stretch of the legs etc? Not service stations... something a bit more memorable. Thank you!

Cahill’s of Limerick, since 1870. Selling snuff, tobacco, men’s shaving products and 120+ varieties of tea. ‘What else can I tell you, only that we’re here. That people should take time,’ Eleanor Purcell told me.
I broke one of Cork's cardinal rules in taking this photo at the Hi-B Bar. Unwittingly, it has to be said. And no, it wasn't by drinking Guinness. Notes attached.

If Covid-19 continues to creep up, it will break Irish tourism, and a lot more besides. Let's take this weekend to get those good habits back!
-hand hygiene
-physical distance
-wear face coverings on public transport and in shops
-cough into arm/tissue
-avoid crowds
