The club is grateful for the offers made for the cricket and ground machinery and equipment it is selling. Bids have been received from 26 parties, and the website list of highest bids will continue to be updated, with successful bidders being contacted as soon as practicable.

A reminder bids for the machinery and other cricket equipment being sold by the club should be submitted by the end of today. Note, too, the club has no financial need to sell assets at below fair market prices, and reserves the right to sell to other than the highest bidder.

The club is grateful to those who came to look at items it is selling. Questions were asked about sundry items. In addition to the stumps, and training equipment shown on an earlier tweet, there are senior net balls, and junior equipment, including new training and match balls.

Continuing good work on the ground by Adam Richardson and his @GMGLASGOWLTD team, in parallel to the ongoing issues affecting the club.

Senior indoor practice is on again this Wednesday, the fifth in a series of weekly pre-season, Wednesday night, two-hour sessions at Hutchesons’ Grammar School Sports Hall. 7pm and 9pm.

News coverage of the club and “Shawholm” over the last week, both online and in print, local and national, was acknowledged at this evening’s Special Meeting of members.
