Been sick all week after con and still am so I came into the cup with no prep and feeling like shit but can't drop out due to losing the slot if I do so. Just all around shitty week for me but I'll make sure to be healthy for next one. Also, not a fan of the set.

SVO being run as smoothly as Set 3 TFT tourneys has me feeling nostalgic. 4.5 hrs after planned start time and still not done with round 2 LO.

That said, I've signed up for Shadowverse Open and hoping to do well despite a honestly terrible format. As a result, I'll probably not be playing much TFT at the start of the set. Honestly, Pokemon Champion seems fun, so I might try to dabble in that too. Wish me luck!.

The things that helped me were discussing with more people (team greg, PMD, VN community) and taking a more structured approach to TFT, which include properly vod reviewing, not grinding too much, and staying healthy. Hoping to replicate this next set and do better in tournament.

Despite a weaker performance in cups/regionals than I would have preferred, I'm pretty happy with being able to overcome my own struggles with ladder this set. Started the set with roughly a 4.1 AVP and managed to turn that around averaging roughly a 2.9 in my last 150 games.

That said I think these are signs of TFT being taken a lot more seriously now than in the past. There's a lot of passion which is undeniably awesome. As someone who has been competing since set 4, it is fun to see how much the community has changed but also stayed the same. greg.

On the topic of competition, as much as wintrading for someone and griefing a competitor is wrong, I think it is kind of disappointing to see how openly vindictive people are when they feel they are a victim of it. Seen more hostility due to it but it is also understandable. .

Also, hiding potentially bugged interactions as tech to gain a competitive advantage is a bit distasteful imo. Personally have always reported bugs I found that I could have abused and at that point if the bug persists its on Riot.

I think it would be pretty cool if people in the TFT community did their research properly by combining stats, in game testing and player sentiment before making claims/releasing guides. As much as farming clicks is great, maybe not spreading misinformation is more respectable.

Disappointing but at least made tier1. No more tft til next set but I will probably be trying to compete in shadowverse in the meantime.
