Today, I am reminded that exactly 12 years ago, I posted about the launch of iOS 7, which completely revolutionized iOS's design. Yesterday, a similar milestone occurred with iOS 26. Back then, it was a clear improvement; we will see if today’s update is equally significant.

For the first time in many years, I won't be able to watch the #WWDC25 keynote live. It would be exciting if Apple decided to seriously venture into the AI space and introduce a new competitor alongside OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. But perhaps I am only dreaming.

AI might not replace you. But it’s making you question your entire job. Career optimism is falling. And designers, researchers, and mid-career pros are taking the biggest emotional hit.

Doing vibe coding doesn’t mean that you don’t know what you’re doing or that you don’t have in mind how your software should be designed. The risk is ending up that way, and I’ve professed that for a long time.

Anyway, I am noticing an increasing number of services and apps that offer a single, unique functionality. It’s clear that many of these were created through "vibe coding." However, these simple products are likely to fail. They address only 1 problem, which is ok, but often bad.

My two cents: In today's world, @supabase has one of the most visually appealing and clear product presentation websites on the market. If it doesn't inspire you to use it, something might be wrong. .

Even though Apple seems to have fallen behind on AI, many models are open source and perform just as well as the closed ones. In my opinion, Apple has gained a good advantage to observe and act following others, but better. Let's see what this WWDC has in store for us.
