Watched the championship highlights earlier(great league) and Bristol had a goal wrongly flagged offside which wasn’t. No VAR & BC know they’ll get a similar decision go their way and not a 10 min delay looking at a thousand replays like in the Prem?

I loved being at ER on Wednesday & Today. Obviously the results & atmosphere was the real reason but pissing off the Farke out dickheads was equally close.

Back from day in town, then ER, then back in town afterwards. If you’re a fan of another team feel free to have a pop but when Elland Road rocks like Wednesday & Today not many places can match it?

It seems we’ve caught up. 2nd half v Citeh & tonight was exactly what I was talking about. Who knew it would work??
Out all weekend, only seen Leeds game but caught the rest tonight & struck me our tactics are now outdated. Prem teams no longer care about possession or playing out from back, early long ball & crosses from wide accounted for nearly every goal?

Add to that you’re playing teams that often have 3 or 4 players who combined cost more than your entire squad means it really isn’t enjoyable.

When the second VAR happened today & at the other end of the ground none of us knew why for quite a while we all looked at each & said this league is shit. Wank music at the start with refs & away fans mostly no better than Championship.

Nothing against Villa but I lose respect when away fans sing the Jimmy Saville song. We honestly don’t care but more importantly it’s so boring. We actually like it when fans have a pop with something original.

My worry is when we increase the capacity this is what it could be like? That said Villa fans were shocking for the 1st half & possibly the longest period I’ve ever seen from away fans without 1 song. Obviously came to life after scoring awful when behind.

When we play on Sunday there’s always a lot of ssn ticketers around us missing (Cheese Wedge) & I’m guessing this is same in other stands. Yes the seat has been taken but the atmosphere is never the same. Some really quiet moments today?

The only difference is usually the strikers. We compete all over the park but teams have that extra class up front, which has usually cost more money than we can afford at the moment?

Back from a fair few beers after Elland Road & the Guinness has improved our mood. Been to every home game this ssn & like today haven’t left any thinking other team were far better than us. Thought draw was a fair result today?

Strangely my best memories of Mani was when he was on Soccer AM. Looked like he’d been up all night doing Coke and was hilarious. A night out with him & Ricky Hatton would have been a night you’d never forget!!

Just read this week 2 of the major music magazines have Pulp as the Album of the year (hard to disagree). The opening track is Spike Island which they didn’t know when writing it but is a fitting tribute to Mani.

Saw something that always annoys me though & sometimes happens at England football games which is someone bringing a Union Flag. The clue is in the title, it’s Australia v England not Australia v Great Britain FFS!!
