We tried working w/Jellop on our current campaign. They aren't bad people for Ad Men, but they are fucking horrible at their jobs. Incomprehensible copy, unapproved early bird discounts, bad ROI. All of which put us behind on a project and wasted time, energy & money. 1/2.

Also, one of the team members has started trying to gaslight me on Meta, and other folks have chimed in that they have also experienced similar gaslighting. Their current call out seems like a calculate ploy because indie RPGs are still running funding campaigns. 3/3.

I’m not saying not to use the platform.I’m not saying the competition they are running couldn’t help you.I’m not saying it’s a bad platform ( I love parts of it). But the partners they picked to create credibility haven't used GF to fund RPG projects and it’s telling. 2/3.

As @gamefound tries a push into the #TTRPG space, I’d note that for years, most indie creators who tried it found the community toxic + the staff insulting/disinterested. We tried to engage them for years to no response. Now that RPGs are the only item fundable “they care” .1/3.

I am so excited about Wandering Blades ( launching May 6th!. HOWEVER, I'm as excited about @hecticelectron's Defy The Gods launching April 29th. Each #TTRPG deserves way more followers!.Can we get Defy to 200+ & Wandering to 400+?.
