We are saddened by the loss of legendary ASCAP member Roy Ayers, the jazz-funk pioneer behind “Everybody Loves the Sunshine.” He brought a funkier sound to jazz in the ‘70s, leaving an indelible mark on modern music. His music will forever be part of the soundtrack of our lives.
