Scans and research of options done, second line of treatment chosen - just need to get over this pesky kidney infection in order to start it.

Good news - biopsies were clear and that it is a single new mutation (mutliple would need chemo). Not so good news is the suggestion that I revert to a previous generation of the TKI tablets, with more side effects. I cannot complain as I've had over 30 symptom-free months.
