In FDK, we did an experiment today to find out how animals stay warm in the cold weather. We used a bag of fat (crisco shortening) to protect our hands from ice cold water and learned about how animals need “blubber” to survive the winter.

Happy 2025! As your class gets back into routine, encourage your students to think about 2025 'resolutions' for home and school. Creating a writing centre that is all about goals could get students writing, drawing, & talking about their ideas 📝🖼️
