On August 29, Ukrainians honor the fallen heroes who fought for our independence and freedom. Today, all our thoughts are with 60 Ukrainian scouts that died in this war. They were good friends and true patriots of our homeland. All the adventures are possible thanks to them❤️🩹

Over 1000 scouts from Luxembourg, Ireland, Norway, France, Turkey, and the UK camped at the Bavarian Jamboree from July 29 to August 5. The Ukrainian group of Plast members joined the adventure with 120 scouts 💪 It was awesome making new friends from VCP Land Bayern✨

Meet Viktor-Mykola Havryliuk — a Plast member, a traveler and a defender. In 2022, he witnessed the beginning of a full-scale invasion while attending a Plast camp, but he returned and immediately joined the defenders.

Even the little birds (Plast members aged 2-6 years old) join the good deeds thanks to the example of their parents💚 They are happy to make drawings and decorations for defenders, take care of animals and learn the history of Ukraine⚜️

"If I die, build a hut near mountain Parashka, so that a part of me will always be there..." — TT (Taras Havrylyshyn) once told his friends. He was a Plast member and a traveler. Taras died while defending Ukraine, and Plast members made his wish come true posthumously 💔

2023 is the record-breaker in terms of camping for Plast members - Ukrainian scouts 🔥 5737 children attended camps, and 947 of them were welcomed by scouts in Italy, Sweden, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania and Germany 💚

On December 26, russians shelled a train station in Kherson while 140 people were waiting for an evacuation train. Earlier this month, Plast members - Ukrainian scouts delivered a lamp with the Bethlehem Peace Light to the station. It remained undamaged after the shelling💔

Since 2020, the Ukrainian railway company Укрзалізниця - Ukrzaliznytsia helps Plast members — Ukrainian scouts to deliver the Peace Light of Bethlehem🔥⚜️ In less than 24 hours the Light appears in all regions of Ukraine, starting from Kyiv — the capital of our country💚

During exchange of the Peace Light on the border, Miriam Sorgerová and Denisa Bradiaková, two Slovakian scouts, received the Order of St. Michael the Archangel for their important role in organizing camps in Slovakia for 300 Ukrainian children in 2022-23🇺🇦🇸🇰 @skauti

The Plast members took part in the official transfer of the Peace Light of Bethlehem in Linz, Austria. The Light has already left for Ukraine, and in 10 hours it will cross the border and travel from Lviv to Kyiv ❄️🕯️
