Conference season is gearing up! Are you getting ready for the **dreaded** #postersession with no clue where to start? Look no further! I had the opportunity to (re)design both some of my colleagues' + my own posters that haunted me. No more! Here to that 2⃣0⃣2⃣4⃣ glowup. (1/3)

🚨 New paper! 🚨 @pittaro90, @DanielStec91 and others describe the ARI, a measure of #anhydrobiosis in #tardigrades, and analyze factors that affect survival in these microorganisms Check out the blog post and the paper published in @AnimalEcology https://t.co/KfxddTaFnm

Male and female tardigrades are indistinguishable, so how do they tell the sexes apart? @ChartrainJusti1 shows that female tardigrades can smell both sexes, hanging out with both, but males ignore other males and are only attracted to the scents of females https://t.co/bg0AB3rySS

I am so excited tell you that @ChartrainJusti1's tardigrade work is out in the world in @J_Exp_Biol. 🌊🐻 She has spent over 2 years developing the protocol to make this paper a reality! Give this work some love & read about sex + chem. cues in the cutest microorganisms around!

Yet another superpower that (some!) #tardigrade species have: survival to many repeated freeze-thaw events. Wanna know why? Check out our new OA paper: https://t.co/aajpGnw4So. Led by Dr Krzys Zawierucha and @pittaro90. @jyuscience #karhukainen

Water bear, moss piglet, tardigradeβ€”whatever the name, they're all around us. Anywhere there's a thin film of water, there may be tardigrades. Including ones that are new to science. Introducing the fifth hakaiensis species! @RbcmHydroids @pittaro90 https://t.co/OvH3oSG5MP
