And we shipped built-in tools for working with SQL databases — you can ask the ChatGPT or any other LLM to explore your database. It can retrieve the full schema, including tables, column types, row counts, etc, so you can more easily chat and ask questions about your data.

We also added tool annotations to all 10k+ tools in our public registry, so LLMs and agents can have better awareness of which tools are read only vs write, which ones might be destructive, etc. This provides end users more confidence when using Pipedream tools with an LLM.

As part of this release, we added support for OAuth for anyone who's using Pipedream MCP as an end user. This not only improves the security, but also removes any pre-configuration required, and lets us use a single static URL:
