We designed a national programme to increase # of AI solutions in key markets like #transport #construction #creativeindustries #agriculture built responsibly, with the end user in mind. Supporting those sectors in the foundations needed to bring them value through AI.

Working with @OfficeforAI including @sebkrier Jacob Beswick @sanakb and others, myself and @DigiCatapult found less than 5% of UK AI companies are looking at sectors that can often underpin regional economies. A bridge was needed connecting demand side need for AI & AI startups.

Need to create an ecosystem that takes the Metaverse beyond silos to be healthy and sustainable. This means better interoperability, better representation and diversity - making sure avatars are real representations for the real people who use it. @taimoorhusain @Microsoft.

Making experiences accessible for consumers is key - there is a half way house where we render the Metaverse in 3D but interact with it in 2D for now. A first step to help people understand the value of bringing digital and physical together @RonnieVasishta @nvidia #digitaltwins.

How can we create practical first steps to make the #Metaverse a reality? There are already numerous examples of significant return on investment through the industrial Metaverse using smart glasses and beyond @TeamviewerJan @TeamViewer #AugmentedReality.
