Sad to hear of the passing of ex Northants and England batsman Wayne ‘Ned’ Larkins. Loved watching him - always looking to attack the bowling especially the very quicks. Made batting look easy and inconsequential. A ‘Baz Baller’ 40 years ahead of his time. #RIPNed 🙏🏏.

On this weekend exactly 54 yrs ago Sir Gareth Edwards went off with a hamstring injury in the first Lions Test v NZ, to be replaced by Chico Hopkins in a 9-3 win. Edwards recovered to start all of the remaining 3 tests. Fear not Tomos 🤞.

A real honour and privilege as a Cardiff boy to host the opening of this today. The Q+A panel of Sir Gareth Edwards, Terry Holmes, Alan Phillips and Bob Norster was so illustrious they closed all the roads in the city centre and put on hundreds of stewards to police it. 😉🏉.
