#usingDataToDriveAction has evolved: #UsingDataToDriveOutcomes. Not bad for a volunteer workgroup and the newest unit of @CHHSAgency. I think this #GovTech thing is more than a passing fad.

Sad to say, but the latest climate news all seems to point to “adaptation” as the only strategy left. I expect we’ll see news of real estate speculation in Alaska and Canada’s north real soon; apparently Montana is already sold out. Expect “wars of migration” next. 😢.

#GovTech Rant: A CalHR Occupation Class (e.g. IT Specialist 1) is NOT a position TITLE. Even worse when used for mgmt positions. Result: People who might fit, don’t apply. Others apply for the salary, even if not a good fit. This is bad for everyone.
