@pasi_sahlberg Clear tensions emerging around having high standards without standardization Tensions from years of standardized testing that normalized a system of reporting for those far away from kids. A testament to NZ now supporting teacher professional judgement.

@timoslimo @pasi_sahlberg Who would make the schools use those levelled assessments & PATs when the reporting has been formally removed by MOE? Is this something being imposed by principals, school by school, as standardized testing is no longer reported to MOE in favour of teacher professional judgement?

@philmcrae @pasi_sahlberg This what progressive governments should do. Time to kill EQAO. expensive and useless. If testing actually worked USA would be #1 not floundering.
