Carter played in the slot a bunch for the Jets. Vic Fangio explained reasoning for keeping Cooper DeJean in the slot in nickel on Tuesday. Don’t think that rules out a full-time move to the outside, but imagine Carter addition will be a depth piece initially. And then, who knows.
