Great start to our year 9 songwriting with @philcaffrey20

I really enjoyed today's second and final song writing workshop with year 9 students in George Stephenson High School. They all did so well and came up with some really good songs. In 4 hours they wrote, played, performed and recorded their work. Fantastic.

I have really enjoyed the last two days writing and recording with Students from Marden High. Well done everyone, you all sounded great, you should be proud of what you have achieved.

The Caffs Charity reunion gig is on Friday 23rd September at the Exchange in N Shields. Me, Pete and Paul along with the band will be taking to the stage for one last gig. The gig is for my great grandson Charlie's NHS Charity fund. Tickets are selling really well. xx

I have recently been writing a new school song at St Josephs Catholic Primary School. The children have done so well and i am pleased to say the song is now finished and ready to let the children hear it on Tuesday. I hope they like it, fingers crossed.

Me, Pete and Paul are going to do one more gig together. It will be a charity gig to raise money for my great grandson Charlies NHS Charity fund. Venue and date TBC asap. Thanks for your support. xx

I am working in Holystone Primary School writing original songs with two years six classes. The children are working so well and the songs are sounding great. The lyrics they have come up with are very emotional and thought provoking. Fantastic support from all the staff.

I am really looking forward to this weeks Standing Upright songwriting session. The bandstand in Northumberland Park is a really good setting and the last two sessions have been so good. Let us see what we can come up with this week, watch this space.

A busy day today, Benny our grandson is 22, got the chance to see him from a distance then spent time with our great grandson Charlie. Just finished writing a new song. A good day, see what tomorrow will bring. Take care.
