Remote work is great, but onsite experience builds foundations that are hard to replicate virtually. Balance is key. Get the experience that will shape you, then leverage it however you choose.

There are certain things you only learn by being physically present: office dynamics, how to navigate corporate culture, how to build the kind of relationships that open doors.

Also, don't be in a rush to look for a fully remote job. I know the appeal is strong. I mean who doesn't want to work in pyjamas? But there's real value in getting onsite experience at solid companies, especially early in your career.

It's one thing to understand a concept theoretically; it's another thing entirely to apply it and see what actually works in the real world.

Get out there and gain real experience! Don't let everything you know stay locked in books, tutorials, videos or jotters. Put it to work.
