In my latest @CTmagazine, I appreciated the chance to engage with Sarah Ruden's new biography of Perpetua @yalepress. There is much that I loved about this book, but I also question some assumptions Ruden brings to the project.

This morning I got to spend a luxurious three hours with the Brazos Fellows slowly unpacking Cyril of Alexandria's account of the unity of Christ, and reflecting together on the great mystery of the Word becoming flesh. Pretty great for a Thursday morning, if you ask me.
