Training Tuesday! EMS partnered with SWAT to conduct joint active threat training. Recruits attended lecture, followed by full-scale exercises. This is part of every recruit training academy, ensuring every paramedic and EMT is prepared to respond to any active shooter incident.

The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police is keeping the detectives, their families, the two other officers who were wounded, and the entire Northern York County Regional Police Department in our thoughts and prayers during this time.

Members from the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police attended the funeral held today for the three Northern York County Regional Police detectives — Detective Sgt. Cody Becker, Detective Mark Baker, and Detective Isaiah Emenheiser — who were killed in the line of duty on September 17.

Pittsburgh Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit detectives arrested Sebastian Rodriguez, 25, in connection with an Aug. 31, 2025 aggravated assault inside a nightclub in the 1900 block of Smallman St. Rodriguez was arrested on Sept. 6 and transported to the ACJ.
