Long time no update, so here you go - a wavetable oscillator! The gimmick is that the wavetables are GLSL shaders so that you can modify them/add new ones during runtime:

Finished all the oscillators. Did i miss any?

Great. I made it so fun that now instead of working on it i'm just playing around.

It works. It's officially a polyphonic modular synth. All that remains now is to make a bunch of different modules. And make it way faster.

Didn't do much lately, but here's at least a video with some node-link editor animations

We now have a basic node-link editor (which doesn't do anything yet). And the ability to switch between dark and light color schemes. Clearly, my mastery of prioritization is immense.

I was looking on the internet how other software synths work, and some of them are modular with node-link editors. I have concluded i must have that too.

"ration" instead of "ratio" being a common typo and not just me being weird is one of my favourite things.

first sounds

Should the user be allowed to play the same note with the same instrument twice at the same time? If not, the synth is now fully polyphonic.

Ok this is not as easy as i thought. Anyway, one hack later it now can make its first sounds without any clicks or pops. Back to my regular job now.

Just like this whole project is senseless, so is the order in which i do things. So now we have an ADSR envelope (for non-existing oscillators).

First things first.

Making a software synthesizer for no good reason. I feel like i'm 18 again.
