Some thoughts on the "newness" of Dispensationalism: . 1. The vast majority of key dispensational beliefs pre-date Darby. 2. All evangelical systems as "systems" are new, being post-Reformation. 3. Nobody is mad at Progressive Covenantalism for being about 20 years old.
