@peterdoggers It was the most rigged procedure ever witnessed Peter. No rules, no statutes, mixed proposals on purpose, refusing to put Malcolm Pein's motion, and secret votes against article 17.15 of statutes. I am literally speechless and I have seen many things with my own eyes in the past,

A majority of chess delegates just went against IOC recommendations and voted in a secret ballot (which is possibly against FIDE’s own statutes!) to allow Russian and Belarus teams back in official events. And yes, the flawed ‘don’t mix sport with politics’ argument was used.
