When someone at work urgently needs my attention Slack offers no UX for the sender or for me to differentiate from the 20 other non-urgent notifications.

I want to be able to message a channel and cause people in the channel to know there is something important that they should not miss without instantaneously alerting people and causing them to drop everything. But occasionally, and it’s super rare, I also want to alert everyone!.
