Two new 8205 releases are up now! 8205-021 Equinox & Renegade EP / 8205-022 Bizzy B & D-Lux EP. Both EPs are wicked unreleased archival material from 93-94. There are also some last copies of Bizzy B's last two EPs on 8205, and the Deceptive Jon EP. https://t.co/FOXb6yRLYO

Thanks to @weedhitter for getting me involved with this crazy 2 day Seattle rave! All sorts of mad tuneage this weekend and very different from the usual parties I play, looking forward to checking it out.

Succesfully bike-pilled a London friend on his recent trip to boston, now I finally have someone to show me how to ride around that city without feeling like I'm about to die at every moment

It's crazy to me this site selling bootleg mp3s is STILL up after all this time, and is a registered business in Belgium. Absolute scumbags. If you know artists on there, please get them to complain to their ISP or Sabam (elgian music rights org)

This might be the most obvious thing in the world, and having to monitor "in headphone" is kind of a crutch (though it's also a useful fallack skill for when monitors suck). But I could have played some way tighter sets over the years if I had figured this out earlierš

Granted, overall volume will still be quiet, so not great if you're used to loud monitoring in headphone. But this gives you all the flexibility of independent master vs cue ratio mixing (normally I like mixing with cue maybe 2x as loud as master before switching to pure master).

Turns out I'm an idiot - just leave the knob all the way to master, headphone volume all the way up. Select the cue channel, and move the master/cue knob SLIGHTLY to the left. Just a tiny bit. Because of the volume difference, you can easily hear the cue source coming in.

If you do that, but then move the master/cue knob back to "cue", you're liable to blast your ears. It also makes getting an arbitrary blend of master + cue signal (like you normally can w/ that knob) impossible. Well, I thought it did.

Last night I figured out a workaround for when the master volume is set super low on DJM mixers. This has plagued me for years at gigs because I monitor in-headphone, and headphone master on DJMs is post-amp. That means you have to crank headphones all the way up to hear it.

što all the meh "johnny jungle come lately" producers who have since switched to making DKG (Dunning-Kruger Garage). Me and my friends' inboxes thank you.

Hi. This platform sucks but I still check it sometimes, so if you do too and see this, lock into me and Marlon tonight playing some fun 94-95 vinyl on NTS.

Even though their tunes will be played by other DJs as long as electricity + speakers exist on earth, it's sad future generations won't get to hear Deeon, DJ Funk & Paul Johnson DJ it themselves. They were AWESOME djs who tore it up at literally every party I saw/booked them at.
