my controversial take on the annabeth/rachel thing is that A was definitely unnecessarily mean and rude to rachel but it was valid given that she was a teen/kid + her and percy had an unspoken thing. not to mention rick kinda kept writing his female characters w pick me traits

the writing this season is truly so ass cuz how could they not at least come up with a lukewarm elmax reunion and then make two characters that have never interacted on screen seem like besties
they reheated hella el nachos and gave them to will but i draw the line at the max reunion. genuinely wtf?! el brought her BACK TO LIFE but her emotional scenes are with WILL BYERS? i don’t ever even remember them speaking please 😭😭😭😭

i haven’t caught up but she’s clearly depressed and feels hopeless and sees herself in el and just wants the pain to end idk why ppl are so pissed at her when she’s the first character to act like most ppl would in that situation
