Shouldn't Labour make sure there are jobs that DISABLED PEOPLE can do BEFORE taking away people's #DisabilityBenefits?

The richest 1% of people in the UK are worth £2.8 trillion. Tell me again why a Labour government needs to cut benefits for the disabled.

Dear MPs Abstaining from the #DisabilityBenefits cuts isn’t what we need. It’s cowardice, really — knowing it’s wrong but not quite willing to risk the meal ticket. Follow your principles. The ones you had when you were eight. The ones that made you want to serve, Thanks, Jay

If I’m being honest, I’m feeling pretty down about my small business. I’m working so hard but it’s been very quiet. It’s bloody difficult at the moment. Please have a look at what I do and retweet to spread the word. https://t.co/W5SXRuwLwR

Since 2020, energy giants have made £514,000,000,000 in profit while bills soar. Meanwhile, UK billionaires hoard £795,000,000,000 as 4.5 million children live in poverty. If the government wanted to tackle poverty & lower bills, it would tax billionaires & nationalise energy.

Apparently £70bn in benefits to Disabled People in 2030 is unsustainable and unaffordable. But the £80bn billionaires and their companies get in tax breaks, right now, is just fine, we don't even need to mention it.

HMRC needs to put the billionaires on PAYE, make them pay 47% on everything and spy on their bank accounts. Would be no shortage of money then.

They dream of a country where the rich pay lower taxes. We dream of a country where the homeless don't sleep on the streets.

Hi @TravelodgeUK if your hotel is advertised as accessible, it needs to be accessible. Having entry to the building via a lift, that only staff can operate IS NOT accessible. Why should I have to keep waiting in the cold for staff to let me in and out? I'm an independent adult🤬

I didn't choose to be disabled. I didn't choose to have to give up work. I didn't choose to have to live in constant pain. Disabilities aren't a choice. They're not a moral failure

Nearly all awards for new PIP claims are short-term: 79% of awards are short term (0 to 2 years). Yet the green paper suggests re-assessing more frequently! This would be impractical and costly at the best of times let alone when re-assessments repeatedly linked to suicide.

My designs get lots of publicity in magazines and online and it looks like I’m doing really well. The reality is that it’s bloody hard work being self employed and it’s not getting any easier. Have a look at what I do and retweet. Thanks. https://t.co/efvD9JdtEG

They tried to push the "fraud" narrative, but the data proved there wasn't any. They tried to push the "Not really disabled" narrative, but the stats say different. So instead they're just redefining what they class as "disabled enough for help".

There are 16 million disabled people in the UK. Why does Labour think it's a good idea to alienate 16 million people? Don't they realise that Disabled people vote?
