If this coronation was happening in the summer holidays, it would be done by now because they wouldn't be doing hymns. #englishCatholicJokes.

Important military horse related fact on coronation day:. Norman war horses were about the same size as ponies. Now imagine EVERY SINGLE ONE of these Blues and Royals mounted on a pony, in ceremonial uniform. You're welcome.

Quite happy not having a number and postcodes aren't perfect in rural land.

@CadachLlestri If/When I am Lord Protector of England I solemnly swear, as a former glazier who worked in the Shires, that I will require every house in the country to have a number. It will be my gift to my brothers and sisters in trades. Can have a name AS WELL. But you're having a number 😁.

Fun to do, nerve-wracking as unscripted, and hopefully no one points out something major I missed. I am in the curiosity and discovery phase of seeking out policy. With an oblique reference to @garius twenty-six minutes or so in 🤫.

The piles of books were rustling ominously in the spare room last night. They could smell the oak and oil, I think. They knew their new home was ready. I told them they needed to wait, but agreed that they could send a delegation to try it out. Never seen them so happy.

Oh i see. It's that the level of my pond has dropped slightly too low, so he can't comfortably drink the fishy-tasting water. How rude of me.

CBI's "Future of Commuting" makes for interesting reading. There is an emerging theme, unintended (possibly) on disparity between Govt Policy for rural communities such as Net Zero plans & heating, Farmers, Transport Mobility & Climate Change. Or is it me? I hope not.

Anyone with an interest in @Dft strategies would do well to watch this morning's @CommonsTrans for a one off evidence session on the National Bus Strategy (England). Will the Strat be a credible response to the challenges of covid-19, climate change & levelling up England?.
